Unik Ernest Group
We are a global consultancy and venture group that blends hospitality strategy, cultural activations, and political diplomacy to design world class experiences, elevate destination brands, and connect influential communities that drive measurable economic and cultural impact worldwide.
About Our Founder
Unik Ernest is a Haitian born, American based entrepreneur and cultural architect whose career spans more than three decades across hospitality, branding, philanthropy, and diplomacy. His production credits include global moments such as the Super Bowl, the World Cup, and United Nations General Assembly meetings on five continents.
Unik began his career as a nightlife promoter in Miami, where his charisma and energy quickly set him apart. Relocating to New York City, he became a driving force in shaping the city’s nightlife culture. As the owner of acclaimed venues including PM Lounge, Bijoux, and Merkato 55, he helped transform Manhattan’s Meatpacking District into the nightlife capital of the world. His work with the Serafina Restaurant Group further demonstrated his ability to scale hospitality brands into global names.
Our Work
Today, the Unik Ernest Group channels this global experience into strategic consulting, hospitality ventures, and cultural activations for governments, brands, and high profile leaders.
We’ve produced unforgettable experiences for Nike, Valentino, JetBlue, NBC Universal, and major cultural institutions such as Sundance, the Cannes Film Festival, and the Grammy Awards. These projects are known not just for their scale, but for their cultural resonance - one of a kind moments that attract leaders in fashion, film, music, and business.
Celebrities including Rihanna, Novak Djokovic, Katy Perry, and John Legend have trusted us to craft experiences at the highest level. In 2018, we partnered with filmmaker Spike Lee to produce the world premiere of BlacKkKlansman at Cannes - a highlight in our portfolio of culturally defining events.
Beyond nightlife and branding, we’ve used our influence to create lasting impact in Haiti. In 2007, we founded The Edeyo Foundation alongside Michael Pradieu to provide free education to children in Port-au-Prince’s Bel Air neighborhood. Today, the foundation supports more than 300 students, offering not just schooling but also daily meals, healthcare, and hope for the next generation of Haitian leaders.
In our latest ventures, we’re expanding our footprint with Culturin, a tech enabled platform that empowers cultural tour operators and destinations to manage bookings, build loyalty, and tell richer stories to global audiences.
We’re also developing an Afro Fusion restaurant, cocktail lounge, and cultural museum, blending our passion for hospitality and culture and creating an immersive dining experience that celebrates Africa’s culinary influence and diaspora stories.
For the Unik Ernest Group, each chapter - from nightlife to nation building - reflects a single through line: the power of culture, connection, and community to create meaningful change.
Speaking & Consulting
We also bring our expertise to stages and boardrooms around the world. We are available for keynote speaking, fireside chats, and private advisory or consulting sessions on topics ranging from cultural entrepreneurship, hospitality innovation and event production, to diplomacy, diaspora engagement, and fostering connections between developing nations and U.S. power circles.
